Before and After Retouching: 03 Architectural Photography

This exterior dusk image of a contemporary house addition in Connecticut was photographed with a drone, and the post-production is based on a single exposure.

The main post-production work here is finding a balance between the ambient light's cold blue color temperature and the overly greenish/yellow, warm color temperature of LED and incandescent light fixtures used in and around the house. The rest of the work consists of removing distracting objects, changing the color of image elements, digitally replacing broken light bulbs, and adding a more pleasing sky. All of the post-production work was done in-house.

I was photographing a different, land based, composition at the same time. You can see camera and tripod standing close to the pool. The before and after image from that shot was part of an earlier post.
