Abstract Landscapes: First Light
First Light 095
First Light 095
Captured at the Long Island Sound, Westchester, NY
This work is part of a series created during the fleeting seconds of sunrise. Utilizing Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), the architectural horizon is transformed into a painterly study of light and color. Unlike my commercial work, these images are created entirely in-camera, capturing a meditative atmosphere rather than a literal reality.
Artist’s Recommendation for this Series:
I recommend presenting this work at a 40" x 50" large-format scale to fully experience the painterly textures of the ICM technique.
Fuji Crystal C-Print mounted on Alu-Dibond behind Acrylic Glass in an Aluminum Artbox Frame. This option provides incredible depth and vibrance, making the sunrise light appear almost backlit.
All prints are bespoke and produced to your specific architectural requirements.
