2021's photography closed with 34,690 new architectural, interior design, and portrait images and terabytes of new video content. Damn, those video files fill up hard drives fast. I am starting 2022 by closely looking at last year's photoshoots, seeing what worked and what could be improved in the new year. 2021 was heavy on portrait photography and video production. Architectural and interior design work and my fine art photography took a back seat, and due to Covid, the productions were smaller. A lot fewer people were on set or at my studio for photoshoots. And in turn, that also seemed to have caused more post-production work. A lot more compositing happened last year in my portrait photography. Subjects were often photographed separately and turned into group shots in post.

My last year's magazine covers show, there was a more significant emphasis on portrait photography. But my architectural and interior design photography was more prominent in advertising and editorial stories.

Let's make 2022 happen. I am excited to see how it will turn out. Stay tuned.
