Abstract Landscapes: First Light 14

First Light 14

Captured at the Long Island Sound, Westchester, NY

This work is part of a series created during the fleeting seconds of sunrise. Utilizing Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), the architectural horizon is transformed into a painterly study of light and color. The series is called “First Light”. Unlike my commercial work, these images are created entirely in-camera, capturing a meditative atmosphere rather than a literal reality.

Artist’s Recommendation for this Series:

I recommend presenting this work at a 50" x 40" large-format scale to fully experience the painterly textures of the ICM technique. Custom sizes are possible.

Edition of 10 and 2 APs.

Fuji Crystal C-Print mounted on Alu-Dibond behind Acrylic Glass in an Aluminum Artbox Frame. This option provides incredible depth and vibrance, making the sunrise light appear almost backlit. Please see the in-situ section for different mounting and framing options.

All prints are bespoke and produced to your specific architectural requirements.

Delivery time is 3-4 weeks

Signed en verso with a Certificate of Authenticity.
