Some of my recent print work ...
For the current 914INC magazine I photographed Andrew McMurray, who received a $2.5 million investment on ABC's Shark Tank Season 6 from Kevin O'Leary (aka Mr. Wonderful) for a 10% stake in his Zipz wine-by-the-glass business. At that point, it was the biggest deal ever on the program. 914INC magazine crowned Andrew McMurray as "Entrepreneur of the Year".Read More
Over the last few weeks I shot a story for Westchester Magazine about HIDDEN HUNGER in Westchester, NY. I photographed at the FoodBank, in a soup kitchen, food pantries, on the streets of forgotten neighborhoods and homes. Over 200 food pantries in our county, with a population of 1 million, provide free groceries for families and individuals, who can't afford to buy food. I photographed the helping hands as well as their "clients" hoping to raise awareness for the issue.Read More
A few weeks ago I shot a portrait of Stew Leonard on assignment for Westchester Magazine. For those who don't now Stew: He is the extremely charismatic owner of Stew Leonard's. A farm with a grocery store attached to it, and the store concept is inspired by the Disney amusement parks. Love it when my subjects are totally into it. Stew did not flinch when I asked him if he would want to be photographed shouldering a massive tuna.
Although this picture never made it into the magazine spread it is one of my favorites from this shoot.
Recently I shot a series about the first families of Westchester, NY and had the pleasure of working with Nonie Reich and her daughter Eleanor. Both are direct descendants of John Jay, one of the Founding Fathers and the first Chief Justice of the United States. The portrait was shot at the historic Homestead in Katonah, NY, which is now a museum.
A freshly published article in 914INC with portraits of Tim Rooney Sr. and Tim Rooney Jr., owners of the Empire City Casino in Yonkers and members of the family owning the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL franchise.
